I have always been extremely fascinated with smells. My fascination springs from the immediacy of such a sensory experience and from how unfiltered this experience can be. The scents are almost immediately processed as we are placed back in a time and space where we remember being confronted by that specific smell last. I have been collaborating on this project with a great Italian company that has made ‘olfactory marketing’ their goal and has explored possibly every angle of this matter. Oikos Fragrances is in fact helping me in creating a scent resembling of the Ocean through an incredible Solid Fragrance Technology, safe to be used in public spaces. Oikos makes great diffusers for their scents but also makes available the possibility of hiding and encasing the diffuser in walls or structures.
